Do you enjoy finely detailed work?

One of the big reasons Nice Carvings is still here doing this, is because we have a few people around here that are absolutely emphatic about the fine line details. Just when I thought that we coudn't get more nit picky around here about the signs being perfect, we went and hired Melissa's brother, Michael. Get your measuring calipers out because between Melissa and Michael your sign is going to be sanded and painted to within the thousandths of an inch. From Michael's micro nail file sanding techniques, to Melissa's 3/32" hand carving bit and ONE HAIR paint brush...fine lines are PRETTY common 'round these parts.

For all the crazy ideas, logos, and designs that get thrown our way, I won't lie and say that I haven't been nervous about being able to pull off some of them. It happens a lot less nowdays though, Melissa's ability to do the unthinkable with a 3D sign is becoming pretty standard around here. Which is good for the pschye of everyone involved, from the rest of the staff at Nice Carvings, to the awesome clients that we entertain with our carved signs and art.
